Reynolds was hired as construction manager at-risk of the new Milton and Catherine Hershey Conservatory at Hershey Gardens. The conservatory includes a year-round indoor Butterfly Atrium, Welcome Pavilion, and Educational & Horticultural Wing, as well as an overlook and terrace.
Visitors enjoy sweeping views of the town of Hershey and the gardens from the outside, and more than 500 native and exotic species of butterflies dancing around 1,300 tropical plants on the inside. A sophisticated HVAC and building management system keeps the Butterfly Atrium at a constant 80 degrees and 70 percent humidity. The year-round tropical butterfly atrium is one of only 25 in the country.
