Bloomsburg University Residence Hall

Project Background

Reynolds was hired by Bloomsburg University to provide full construction management services for David L. Soltz Hall, a 398-bed residence hall and bookstore. Reynolds’ design review and comprehensive cost estimating effort resulted in very successful bid day results. The pre-construction team ensured that Bloomsburg received competitive pricing that met their budget requirements. The construction team was the daily driving force behind progress, creating a sense of urgency to accomplish the owner’s goal of occupying on time. To make way for the new building, the first phase included demolition of existing buildings, which occurred January through March 2016, followed by an intense 15-month construction schedule to complete the 162,000-square-foot installation.
