(Oakmont, PA) – MuSic for MS, a day of music, food, and family to raise funds for multiple sclerosis (MS) research, rocked Hartwood Acres in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania on August 18, 2018. Reynolds was a proud sponsor and supporter of the event.
Mike Arnold, Reynolds’ Vice President of Construction Management Services, created MuSic for MS in 2014 to help fund medical research and the purchase of wheelchairs, ramps, and other durable goods that help improve the lives of those living with MS. Arnold organizes and performs at the festival, which consists of live music from local and national bands, a silent auction, and food.
“This is a great event that is near and dear to my heart,” said Arnold. “It’s a way to help those living with MS, to share my passion for music, and to honor my sister Dorothy, who has been living with MS for almost 25 years. Tullycavy, a band that my family and I play in, has been honored to play all five years.”
MuSic for MS has attracted several thousand attendees and raised approximately $200,000 for the National MS Society in its first five years, including $35,000 from this year’s event. For more information about MuSic for MS, go to www.musicforms.org.
