Sustainable Consulting & Certifications Programs
Reynolds takes great pride in the ability to work with owners to ensure that their sustainability and certification goals are met, while at the same time providing them with a building that operates efficiently and minimizes its environmental impact.
LEED stands for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design. The United States Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED® program recognizes best-in-class construction strategies and practices. To receive LEED certification, construction projects must satisfy prerequisites and earn points to achieve different levels of certification.
LEED certification has benefits for businesses in all markets. The program was created to improve overall environmental performance and energy efficiency over the lifecycle of a building. Working with a sustainability consultant during the LEED certification process helps identify opportunities for conserving water, integrating alternative energy solutions and reducing your reliance on fossil fuels. In doing so, you not only reduce your carbon footprint, but you lower your operating costs, too.
