West Shore Hospital

Project Background

PinnacleHealth System hired Reynolds to commission the new West Shore Hospital.

This design-build project is an 188,000-square-foot facility providing:

  • Private patient rooms
  • Seven state-of-the-art operating rooms
  • Three heart catheterization labs
  • A 12-bed intensive care unit (ICU)
  • 18 treatment rooms for Emergency Department
  • Multiple nurses stations on each unit, placing nurses closer to the patients within their care

Reynolds services included preconstruction phase commissioning with a 3rd party peer review and construction phase commissioning on the following systems:

  • HVAC System including AHU’s, VAV terminals, heating/cooling incremental equipment and exhaust fans
  • ATC
  • Central plant equipment including boilers, chillers and VFDs
  • Domestic Hot Water
  • Emergency Power and Generator
  • Primary Switchgear
  • Oversight, management and co-ordination of TAB services
