Reynolds Consulting Engineers (RCE) was hired by the Fairfax County Public Schools to provide commissioning services in an open-ended contract. As part of the Fairfax County Public Schools program, RCE was assigned to provide commissioning services for the following projects:

  • Laurel Hill Elementary School
    • 98,000 square feet
    • Completed in 2009
    • Construction cost: $20 million
  • Lutie Lewis Coates Elementary School
    • 95,000 square feet
    • Completed in 2009
    • Construction cost: $19 million
  • Edison High School
    • 50,000-square-foot addition and renovations
    • Completed in 2012
    • Construction cost: $65 million
  • Westlawn Elementary School
    • 23,000-square-foot addition
    • Completed in 2011
    • Construction cost: $21 million
  • Lacey Center Elementary School
    • 36 classroom addition
    • New geothermal heating project
    • Completed in 2012
    • Construction cost: $25.5 million
  • Franconia Elementary School
    • Renovations to library, art room, stage, and technology
    • Completed in 2012
    • Construction cost: $20.6 million
